Grants
Services * Training * Officers * Prosecutors (STOP) Violence Against Women Formula Grant
The STOP VAW Grant funds support Guam’s efforts to develop and strengthen effective responses to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking (DVDVSAS). STOP funds are allocated to the Guam Police Department, the Judiciary of Guam, the Office of the Attorney General, and various non-profit organizations and entities that provide services to victims of DVDVSAS. This award is based on Guam’s population, and is approximately $660,000 per year.
Sexual Assault Services Formula Program (SASP)
The SASP Grant funds support rape crisis centers and other non-profit, non-governmental organizations that provide core services, direct intervention, and related assistance to victims of sexual assault, regardless of age. Also based on population, this award provides Guam with approximately $60,000+ per year for these services.
